Support Staff

We work with a number of other agencies including NHS and Social Care to support our learners and their families.

We work alongside Therapy Services to support our learners.

Currently we are supported by NHS Speech & Language, Occupational and Physiotherapy staff working part time in the school. Their work involves supporting pupils, staff and families with programmes of work linking into learners’ Individualised Educational Programmes. Our learners’ complex health care needs are supported by NHS Forth Valley’s Paediatric Complex Care Nursing Team. We welcome the services of a Music Therapist who works with class teams and individual learners.

Speech & Language Therapist: Lynn McKerron,

Physiotherapists: Rachael Livingston, Kay Kitching

Occupational Therapists: Fern Adam, Gillian Kenmure, Katy Mather

Music Therapist: Brian Smith

Staff Nurse, Schools, Additional Support Needs: Gillian Boyle

The school also works very closely with Psychological Services, Social Care and wider NHS Forth Valley services to support learners and their families. Sometimes we will develop partnerships with other agencies and organisations, when it is of benefit to our learners.
